Hello, my name is Carolyn. I have been an RN since 2007 and an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since 2012. I have spent my career working with families as a childbirth educator, doula, parent educator, post partum nurse and lactation consultant. I have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Our Philosophy
Breastfeeding is the way our bodies are designed to feed our babies. Although feeding your baby at the breast is the most natural thing, that doesn’t mean that it always is easy. Think of breastfeeding as a learned skill for both you and your baby. It takes practice to determine how best to hold your baby for a deep and effective latch. By utilizing infant’s natural instincts to breastfeed and by using optimal positioning, you can have a successful breastfeeding experience.

The Lactation Network (TLN) is a national network of IBCLC certified lactation consultants. TLN works with insurance providers to provide you with lactation services.
